I think I have sleeping problems.?
If you are that concerned, then talk to your parents and see a doctor. No amount of answers from this post can amount to the advice of a doctor, even if they say they are a doctor. ( A good doctor would never post info here. Its a gateway to be sued.) You are young and this could be considered normal. When I was young I could get away with only 3 to 4 hours of sleep and feel fine. Sometimes I could stay up all night and go through the day just fine. Now I need at least 7 hours of sleep to function to my full potential. The body needs sleep for two reasons. One. The body repairs itself while you sleep. Muscles, brain tissue and other physical repairs. Two. The brain needs to sort out the information it has taken in during the day, moving the information from your short term memory to your long term memory. Its like your computer. It defrags, compresses and stores it in a different location. This is why you dream. The brain has to move the information from one part to another, and sometimes moves it through your subconscious which brings to life your daily events in a dream. It is distorted,But a bad dream could mean you are under stress.
