Problem in Renewal of passport via tatkal due to error in parents name in Old passport?

I applied for Renewal of Passport via Tatkkal 16working days ago and still i didn't receive. so i went for enquiry and they said there is an error in my old passport parents name...My mother name is Sahayam and in her old passport taken 35years ago-her grandma name is also added wrongly by agent ie.. Sahaya Natchatram... while i apply for passport 10 years ago that same wrong name is again added by another agent.V didn't take it serious but now i am in trouble.I need passport urgent to apply for an job.My mother got all id proof with Sahayam.voter id,ration card,bank book,Gas book.In passport office they told me to come again only after i receive their enquiry letter within tomorrow.So please help me to sort out this Problem by your valuable Answers.
