Why do men get jealous so easily?

Its so disturbing. I can't stand it. It makes me feel like a tool. I give guys hugs and if I know them well enough a little kiss on the cheek. I like talking I can for hours with anyone! I like having fun with people and sometimes I feel like I can't laugh with a guy without getting anybody jealous.
